A customer with a 40-year-old Renault classic car was looking for a rare plastic part, a cover for the headrest, which was no longer available. We measured the broken part and created a 3D design. Once the digital model was ready, we were able to effortlessly recreate the part using our machines.
We chose PA12, a strong and durable material that ensures the part will last for another 40 years.
The end result was an exact reproduction of the part, indistinguishable from the original. The customer was very satisfied with the outcome, allowing the restoration of his classic car to be fully completed.
